Good little handbook of the American type, where half of the book is written by a breed specialist and the other half is standard information that could apply to any breed. Carol Paulsen has obviously done her research though, and it's culminated in a good little reference book covering all aspects of Neapolitan Mastiff ownership and husbandry.

A well studied publication highlighting many of the Mastiff breeds, recognised by Kennel Clubs worldwide, including the Neapolitan Mastiff. A very comprehensive collection of facts, figures and statistics, David Hancock has been very thorough in his historical research and his words make for an extremely thought provoking read.

Excellent reference book featuring 9 of the Mastiff breeds recognised across the globe. Each breed chapter is written by a breed specialist. The Neapolitan Mastiff chapter was written by Douglas Oliff, prior to his passing in 2008. Douglas had an innate understanding of the Neapolitan Mastiff that stemmed from his passion, knowledge and understanding, Douglas lived with the breed, learned about the breed and loved the breed, and this is evident in his chapter..
The Official Book of The Neapolitan Mastiff. By Sherilyn Allen. Published by TFH Publications Inc. USA 1995. This publication is out of print but from time to time we do have copies for sale. Again, is an Excellent reference book, Written methodically and knowledgably by Veterinary Surgeon and Mastino breeder, Sherilyn Allen. This publication is a 10-year project and covers all aspects pertaining to the History, Health, and Husbandry of the Neapolitan Mastiff.
