Have you had any other breeds prior to the Neapolitan Mastiff?
No, Lemmy is our first Neapolitan Mastiff. The first of many to come.
What made you decide on this breed?
My aunty lost her Dogue De Bordeaux in January and I have always been interested in Neapolitan Mastiff’s and found Lemmy a few weeks after.
What do you love most about this breed?
That’s tough too explain, there is something majestic about them and once I saw one I knew they were the breed for me. The loyalty and also the mischievous side of the breed.
What advice would you give to people interested in this breed?
Don’t read the books! Talk to people who have or had this breed and also be persistent with your training.
How has living with the Neapolitan Mastiff changed your lifestyle?
I have to be careful what is lying around in the house, socks on the bedroom floor is a no go.
